DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

1. BUS CHECK
(a) Select "CAN Bus Check" from the "System Select".
2. CHECK INSTALLED SYSTEMS (ECUS AND SENSORS) THAT USE CAN COMMUNICATION
(a) System (ECUs and sensors) that use CAN communication vary depending on the vehicle's optional settings. Check which systems (ECUs and sensors) are installed on the vehicle.

3. DTC TABLE BY ECU
HINT:
- In the CAN communication system, CAN communication system DTCs output by the ECU can be displayed by using the Techstream.
- If CAN communication system DTCs are output, the trouble cannot be determined solely from the DTCs. Perform troubleshooting according to "HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING" How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.

(a) SKID CONTROL ECU
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(b) ECM
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(d) NO. 1 METER ECU
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(e) POWER STEERING ECU
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(f) STEERING CONTROL ECU
For vehicles with variable gear ratio steering system only.
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(g) SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU
For vehicles with air suspension system only.
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(h) SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
For vehicles with pre-collision system only.
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(i) DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
For vehicles with dynamic radar cruise control system or pre-collision system only.
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(j) ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE ECU
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(k) PARKING ASSIST ECU
For vehicles with advanced parking guidance system and intuitive parking assist system only.
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(l) CLEARANCE WARNING ECU
For vehicles with intuitive parking assist system only.
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(m) MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(n) ELECTRIC POWER CONTROL ECU
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(o) AFS ECU
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(p) DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION (MULTI-DISPLAY)
For vehicles with multi-display only.
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(q) OUTER MIRROR SWITCH
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(r) REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH
For vehicles with rear power seat control system or seat heater system and rear power seat control system (W/ Ottoman).
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(s) TCM
HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

(t) MAY DAY ECU
HINT: DTC communication uses the BEAN communication system.

(u) CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR
HINT: The center airbag sensor is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(v) CERTIFICATION ECU
HINT: The certification ECU is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(w) AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER
HINT: The air conditioning amplifier is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(x) INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY
For vehicles without multi-display only.
HINT: The integration control and panel assembly is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(y) FRONT CONTROLLER
HINT: The front controller is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(z) STEERING PAD ECU
HINT: The steering pad ECU is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(aa) FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH
HINT: The front multiplex network door ECU LH is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(ab) FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH
HINT: The front multiplex network door ECU RH is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(ac) REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH
HINT: The rear multiplex network door ECU LH is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(ad) REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH
HINT: The rear multiplex network door ECU RH is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(ae) FRONT POWER SEAT ECU AND SWITCH LH
HINT: The front power seat ECU and switch LH is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(af) FRONT POWER SEAT ECU AND SWITCH RH
For vehicles with rear power seat control system only.
HINT: The front power seat ECU and switch RH is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(ag) COMBINATION SWITCH
HINT: The combination switch is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(ah) POWER TRUNK LID CONTROL ECU
For vehicles with power trunk lid system only.
HINT: The multiplex network door ECU is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(ai) REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU
HINT: The rear junction block ECU is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(aj) TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
HINT: The tire pressure warning ECU is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(ak) FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR
For vehicles with dynamic radar cruise control system or pre-collision system only.
HINT: The front millimeter wave radar sensor is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

(al) BUS BUFFER ECU
For vehicles with LEXUS link system only.
HINT: The bus buffer ECU is connected to the CAN communication system but CAN communication DTCs are not output.
