SEAT: LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedure listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the front seat assembly Removal.
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH Disassembly
3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH Disassembly
5. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY Disassembly
7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT Disassembly
8. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD





(a) Remove the bolt and seatback cover bracket.





(b) for Front Passenger Side:
(1) Disconnect the connector.
(2) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the power seat switch.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





(c) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and detach the hooks and remove the seatback cover with pad from the seat frame.





(d) W/ Climate Control Seat System:
Disconnect the connector.
9. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (BACK SIDE)





(a) Remove the 2 screws and climate control controller.





10. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH
(a) for Driver Side:
(1) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
(2) Remove the 4 bolts and 2 lumbar support adjuster motors from the seatback frame.
(b) for Passenger Side:
(1) Disconnect the connector.
(2) Remove the 2 bolts and lumbar support adjuster motor from the seatback frame.
(c) Detach the 4 clamps and remove the lumbar support adjuster.
