DTC C1203/95 - ECM Communication Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The circuit is used to send TRAC and VSC control information from the skid control ECU to the ECM, and engine control information from the ECM to the skid control ECU via the CAN communication system.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT: Check that the part numbers of the installed ECM and skid control ECU are correct before performing the following procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION OF LINEAR SOLENOID VALVE AND CALIBRATION
(a) Clear the DTC Electronically Controlled Brake System.
(b) Perform the initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration Programming and Relearning.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Electronically Controlled Brake System.
(b) Turn the engine switch off.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(d) Check that the DTC (C1345/66) is recorded Electronically Controlled Brake System.
Result:






B -- REPAIR CIRCUIT INDICATED BY OUTPUT CODE
A -- Continue to next step.

3. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Electronically Controlled Brake System.
(b) Turn the engine switch off.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(d) Check if the same DTC is recorded Electronically Controlled Brake System.

B -- REPLACE ECM
A -- END
