SUSPENSION: FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH






(a) Install the front shock absorber on the vehicle by installing the 3 nuts on the suspension support side.
Torque: 67 Nm (683 kgf-cm, 49 ft-lbf)






(b) Tighten the lock nut.
Torque: 28 Nm (280 kgf-cm, 20 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT NO. 2 SUSPENSION LOWER ARM ASSEMBLY LH Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH Installation

6. CONNECT FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SUSPENSION LOWER ARM ASSEMBLY LH Installation

8. CONNECT TIE ROD ASSEMBLY LH Installation

9. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE DUST COVER LH Installation

10. INSTALL FRONT DISC Installation

11. CONNECT FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH Installation

12. CONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR Installation

13. STABILIZE SUSPENSION
(a) Install the front tires.
Torque: 140 Nm (1428 kgf-cm, 103 ft-lbf)
(b) Lower the vehicle and bounce it up and down several times to stabilize the front suspension.
(c) Remove the front tires.






(d) Jack up the front suspension lower arm with a wooden block between the jack and front suspension lower arm. Apply a load to the front suspension so that the front suspension lower arm is placed in a horizontal position.
14. TIGHTEN FRONT NO. 2 SUSPENSION LOWER ARM ASSEMBLY LH Installation

15. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 140 Nm (1428 kgf-cm, 103 ft-lbf)
16. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(a) Inspect and adjust the front wheel alignment Front Wheel Alignment.
