ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: TRUNK LID ACTUATOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation
NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE ROPE HOOK Removal

5. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH Removal

6. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 2 TRIM HOOK (w/o Rear Cooler) Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler) Installation

10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT Removal

11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal

12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH Removal

13. REMOVE LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR ASSEMBLY






(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts and nut.
(c) Remove the luggage closer motor.
