Removal

1. NOTICE: Make sure that the wiper motor is in the PARK position.

Remove the wiper pivot arm(s).

1. Remove the wiper pivot arm nut cover(s).

2. Remove the wiper pivot arm nut(s) and washer(s).

3. Using a 2-jaw puller, remove the wiper pivot arm(s)






Installation

1. Install the wiper pivot arm(s)

1. Position the wiper pivot arm(s) on the wiper motor shaft(s).

2. Install the wiper pivot arm washer(s) and nut(s)
- 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

3. Install the wiper pivot arm nut cover(s).






2. Initialize the wiper motors. REFER to Windshield Wiper Motor Initialization Testing and Inspection.
