Diagnostic Overview

The Autolock Does Not Operate Correctly

Normal Operations and Fault Conditions

REFER to Autolock for autolock operation.

Pinpoint Test

1. CHECK THE DOOR AND LIFTGATE AJAR SWITCH INPUT OPERATION

1. Open and close the front doors and liftgate while checking the courtesy lamp operation.

Do the courtesy lamps operate correctly?








2. CHECK THE BCM (Body Control Module) IGN_SW_STATE PID (Parameter Identification)

1. Ignition ON.

2. Using a scan tool, view the BCM (Body Control Module) PIDs (Parameter Identifications).

3. Monitor the BCM (Body Control Module) PID (Parameter Identification) (IGN_SW_STATE).

Does the PID (Parameter Identification) indicate RUN?








3. CHECK THE VEHICLE SPEED OPERATION

1. Check the operation of the speedometer.

Does the speedometer operate correctly?
