INSTALLATION

BUMPER REINFORCEMENT





1. Position the bumper (1).

NOTE: It is not necessary to spot weld the bumper back into place.

2. Install the bolts and tighten to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the fascia, Front Bumper Fascia - Installation.

PEDESTRIAN PROTECTION REINFORCEMENT





NOTE: BUX vehicles only.

1. Position the pedestrain protection reinforcement (3) to the front bumper reinforcement by aligning and engaging the hook features (2).
2. Install the two fasteners (1) securing the pedestrain protection reinforcement (3) to the front bumper reinforcement. Tighten the fasteners to 9 N-m (80 in. lbs.).
3. Install the front fascia, Front Bumper Fascia - Installation.
