Third Row Seat Belt Retractor - Removal







REMOVAL

SEAT BELT WEB STOP BUTTON

The only component of the seat belt and retractor that is available for individual service replacement is the plastic web stop button that prevents the latch plate from falling to the floor while in the stored position. Refer to the instructions supplied with the service kit for the proper web stop button replacement procedures.





1. Remove the second and third row seats from side of vehicle that the seat belt and retractor are being serviced.
2. Remove second and third row lower seat belt anchor bolts (7) from the lower quarter trim panel at the C and D-pillars.
3. Remove lower quarter trim panel Console Shifter Bezel - Removal.
4. Remove the upper D-pillar trim Removal.
5. Remove the two D-pillar seat belt retaining ring mounting screws and then retaining ring (4) from seat belt webbing.
6. Remove the two seat belt retractor mounting bolts (3).




7. Remove the turning loop cover and bolt (6) from D-pillar (7).
8. Feed the seat belt webbing through the upper D-pillar trim and remove seat belt and retractor from vehicle.
