Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove finisher for preselector lever 51 16 214 - Removing and installing/replacing trim for preselector lever (M5, M6)





Unclip switch for SMG transmission (1) from trim for preselector lever (2).
Remove switch for SMG transmission (1) in direction of arrow.

Installation:
Catch on trim for preselector lever (2) must not be damaged.
