Removing and Installing / Replacing Rear Left or Right Lower Side Trim Section

51 43 017 - Removing and installing/replacing rear left or right lower side trim section





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove side trim panel upper section at rear Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Left or Right Upper Side Trim Section
- Remove trim on armrest Removing and Installing/Replacing Trim on Armrest of Left or Right Side Trim Panel
- Partially remove backrest for rear seat Removing and Installing/Replacing Backrest





Open front door.
Release screws (1).
Unclip clips (2).
Feed side trim panel lower section (3) out of entrance cover strip (4) and remove towards inside.





Installation:
Ribs (1) on side trim panel (3) must not be damaged.
Fit all clips (2) with sealing ring.
If necessary, replace faulty clips (2).

Replacement:

If necessary, remove speaker.
