Removing and Installing/Replacing Cooler Box Cooling Unit
64 11 482 - Removing and installing/replacing cooler box cooling unit
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove complete cooler box Removing and Installing Complete Cooler Box.
Release screws (1).
Unscrew nuts (1).
Remove screws (2).
Gently press catch (3) downwards and pull out strip (4) in direction of arrow.
Release screws (1).
Move strip (2) in direction of arrow and remove.
Installation:
Note different screw lengths:
- 1=Long screw
- 2=Short screw
Remove screws (1) and (2).
Pull off cover (3) in direction of arrow.
Caution!
Protect wiring harness (1) against damage.
Unclip plug (2).
Detach frame (3) in direction of arrow from cooler box (4).
Installation:
Make sure wiring harness (1) is correctly laid.
Release screws (1).
Remove cover (2) in direction of arrow.
Caution!
Note markings on cables for pin assignment on circuit board.
Detach cable straps (1).
Disconnect plug connections (2), (3), (4) and (5).
Note:
If there are no markings on cables, note pin assignment:
- 2=Red/black (CP1)
- 3=Black/black (CP4)
- 4=Yellow (S3)
- 5=White (S4)
If necessary, cut through adhesive bead (6) on plug connections with a suitable knife.
If necessary, separate base from socket housing.
Release screws (1).
Installation:
Make sure cooling unit (2) is in correct installation position.
Remove cooling unit (2) in direction of arrow.
