Adjusting Left or Right Soft Top Compartment Cover Lock







Requirements:
Soft top compartment cover and gaskets must be correctly installed and adjusted.

Open side windows.
Unlock soft top and raise over dead center.
Lift clamping bracket and soft top compartment cover upright.







Fold soft top compartment cover down onto soft top compartment cover locks and adjust side locking brackets (1) on left/right so that rotary locks (2) on left/right locate in center of locking bracket (1).







Loosen screws (3) and move soft top compartment cover locks forwards or backwards until the locking brackets (1) engage in the rotary locks (2) at distance (B).
Distance (B) = approx. 3 mm







Close soft top compartment cover.
Determine difference in height between front of soft top compartment cover and side panels on left and right sides.







Screw in left and right support bracket locks (1) by the correct amount.

Installation:
Adjust switch for convertible lid (forced locking).


Service and Repair


Check function.
