Replacing Fuel Injectors

Removing and installing/replacing all fuel injection valves (M43 from 9/95, M44)


Switch off ignition.

Remove complete injection pipe,
Service and Repair







Lift retainer out and pull fuel injectors off.







Installation:
Check O-ring (1) and replace if necessary
Note code number (2).
PD = Production Date
Check position of plastic washer (3).
Note colour of receptacle housing (5) or spray nozzle protector (4).
Only coat O-rings with Vaseline or SAE 90 transmission oil for installation.
