Fuel Rail: Service and Repair

Replacing complete fuel pipe (M43 from 9195, M44)







Remove manifold upper section,







Remove inlet hose (1) for air lines of air-enclosed fuel injectors on intake hose.

Installation:
Check that inlet hoses on fuel injectors are securely seated on the fuel injectors and on the intake hose.







Detach inlet hoses (1) from fuel injectors.







Release hose clamp (1) on fuel return line. Pull off hose.

Installation:
Replace fuel line and hose clips.

Disconnect fuel feed line (2) at the screw connection.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 13 53 4AZ.

Installation:
Always replace O-ring (1).
Coat O-ring with antiseize agent.







Loosen screws (1).
Remove fuel rail.
