EVAP Canister and Leak Detection System Overview






1 Vent line

To fuel tank filler tube

To disconnect, press release button on connection piece

2 Vent line

To Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve 1 (N80)

To disconnect, press release button on connection piece

3 Clamp

Must be appropriate for the model type, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA)

4 Connecting Hose

5 Nut

4 Nm

6 Vacuum Line

To engine

7 Rubber Bushing

8 Bracket

9 Leak Detection Pump (V144)

Installed location: Under wheel housing liner in left rear wheel housing

Checking: In "Guided Fault Finding" using the vehicle diagnostic tester

Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Leak Detection Pump (LDP) (V144) ] Service and Repair

10 Connecting Line

To disconnect, press release button on connection piece

11 Bolt

4 Nm

12 Bracket

13 Air Filter Housing

For the leak detection pump

14 Bolt

4 Nm

15 EVAP Canister

Installed location: In the bottom of the spare wheel well

Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister ] Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister

16 Bushing

17 Bolt

8 Nm
