Headlamp Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Headlamp Washer Pump (V11)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hose clamp pliers (VAG 1921)

• Drip Tray

Removing






- Remove the washer fluid reservoir. Refer to => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir ] Washer Fluid Reservoir, but only pull it out until the headlamp washer pump is accessible.

- Place a drip tray under the washer fluid reservoir.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.

- Remove the washer fluid hose - 3 - from the headlamp washer pump.

• There may be a clip installed rather than a hose clamp.

- Remove the headlamp washer pump - item 2 - upward out of the washer fluid reservoir.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Secure all hose connections using standard hose clamps. Refer to Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

- Check the sealing grommet for damage.

- Install the washer fluid reservoir. Refer to => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir ] Washer Fluid Reservoir.
