Selector Lever Boot from Selector Lever Handle, Disconnecting through MY 2011 without RS5

Removing






- Remove the selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle, through MY 2011 without RS5 ] Selector Lever Handle, Through MY 2011 Without RS5.

- Bind the selector lever handle spring tabs - A - together with cable ties - B -, as shown in the illustration.

- Slide the selector lever boot sleeve - C - over the tabs on the spring tab - arrow -.

- Remove the cable ties and the selector lever boot and sleeve from the selector lever.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Installed position: The longer side of the selector lever boot frame faces the driver side.

- Install the selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle, through MY 2011 without RS5 ] Selector Lever Handle, Through MY 2011 Without RS5.
