Seat Belt Motor Relay: Service and Repair

Front Belt Relay

• Removal and installation are same for right and left.

Removing






- Remove the front belt anchor. Refer to => [ Front Belt Anchor ] Front Belt Anchor.

- Remove side trim. Refer to => [ Side Trim ] Side Trim.

- Remove the seat belt positioning motor. Refer to => [ Driver and Front Passenger Seat Belt Positioning Motors ] Driver and Front Passenger Seat Belt Positioning Motors.

- Unclip the seat belt guide - 2 - and thread the seat belt webbing - 3 - with the seat belt latch through the seat belt guide - 4 -.

- Remove the bolt - 1 - and remove the seat belt guide.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- If parts of the seat belt system are removed due to an accident, replace the belt system mounting bolts.

- Install the bolt and pin into the front mounting point.
