Rearview Camera System Control Module (J772)

The rearview camera system control module is located behind the luggage compartment right side trim.

- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault Finding".

Use the vehicle diagnostic tester.

- Turn off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Open right luggage compartment storage bin.

The rearview camera system control module - 3 - is wedged into the bracket - 1 -.






To remove, the comfort system central control module (J393) must be removed first with the bracket - 1 -. Then the bracket - 4 - with the rearview camera system control module.






For easier handling, the connectors - 3 - can be disconnected and the parking aid control module (J446) - 5 - can be unclipped and moved aside.

- Remove the nuts - 2 -, - 3 - and - 1 - on the bracket - 2 - and swivel the bracket toward the right side of the luggage compartment.

- Unlock and disconnect the connectors - 4 and 5 - from the rearview camera system control module.

- Remove the bracket with the rearview camera system control module from the luggage compartment.

- Press the tab - 2 - on the bracket - 1 - in the direction of the - arrow - and pull the rearview camera system control module - 3 - out of the bracket - 1 -.






Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

- Perform a calibration. Refer to => [ Rearview Camera System, Calibrating ] Rearview Camera System, Calibrating.
