Headlamp Housing Repair Kit, Installing

• Headlight mounting tabs that have broken off can be replaced by installing the repair kit. Replacing the entire headlamp is not necessary.

• There are different repair kits for left or right headlamps. Refer to Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

Procedure






• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Headlamp Housing Repair Kit, Tightening Specification ] Bi-Xenon Headlamps With Cornering Lamp Overview, Through MY 2011.

- Remove the headlamp with the broken mounting tab. Refer to => [ Headlamp Housing ] Headlamp Housing.

- Remove the remains of the broken mounting tab from the headlamp.

- Place the mounting tabs - 2 and 4 - from the repair kit on the headlamp and secure the tabs with screws - 1 and 3 -.
