Selector Lever Boot, Separating from Handle

Removing






- Remove the handle from the selector lever. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle.

- Bind together the spring tabs - A - on the selector lever handle using a cable tie - B - as illustrated.

- Slide the sleeve for the selector lever boot - C - over the tabs - arrow -.

- Remove the cable tie and remove both the sleeve and selector lever boot from the selector lever.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• The longer side of the selector lever boot frame faces toward the driver side (toward the selector lever transmission range position display unit (Y26) ).

- Install the handle on the selector lever. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle.
