Seat Belt Height Adjuster: Service and Repair







Rear Belt Height Adjuster, 2nd Row

Removing

- Remove the C-pillar trim from the body. Refer to => [ C-Pillar Trim Overview ] C-Pillar Trim Overview.

- Lay aside the C-pillar trim with the belt webbing threaded through.

- Remove the bolt - 3 -.






- Remove belt relay - 2 - with belt webbing - 1 -.

- Remove the bolt - 5 -.

- Pull seat belt height adjuster - 4 - up and out of the C-pillar.

Installation

Replacement seat belt height adjusters are always in the bottom-most locking position (assembly position).

If removed seat belt height adjusters are reinstalled, these should be placed in the bottom-most position (assembly position).

- Engage seat belt height adjuster - 4 - in the C-pillar.






- Install screw - 5 - and tighten it to the specification.

- Install the safety belt relay - 2 - and tighten screw - 3 - to the tightening specification.

- Install the C-pillar trim on the body. Refer to => [ C-Pillar Trim Overview ] C-Pillar Trim Overview.
