Rear Lid Lock Button In Luggage Compartment E406, Retrofitting

Procedure

- Remove the lower rear lid trim. Refer to => [ Rear Lid Trim ] Rear Lid Trim.

- Cut Rear lid lock button in luggage compartment opening in new lower trim according to dimensions show in illustration.






• Dimension - a - = 435 mm

• Dimension - b - = 49 mm

• Dimension - c - = 24 mm

• Dimension - d - = 28 mm

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install lower trim. Refer to => [ Rear Lid Trim ] Rear Lid Trim.

- Connect electrical connector to rear lid lock button in luggage compartment.

- Press rear lid lock button in luggage compartment down until it engages in trim.
