Connector Station, Left A-Pillar

Removal






- Turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the front sill panel.

- Push the clip in - direction of arrow - and disengage the connector station - 3 - from the A-pillar.

- Unclip the fuse holder from the coupling station.

- Remove the mount - 2 - for the 46-pin Connector (T46a). Refer to => [ 46-Pin Connector Mount, CAN Cut-Off Connector ] 46-Pin Connector Mount, CAN Cut-Off Connector.

Disregard item - 1 -.

- Open the clip and remove the auxiliary fuse panel - 2 -.






- Open the clips - arrows - and remove the relay - 1 - and the control modules from the relay panels.

- Release the retaining clips - arrows - and press the relay carrier - 3 - back and out of the bracket - 4 -.






- Open the clip - 2 - and remove the connector - 1 -.

Check the exact connector assignment in the current wiring diagram.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the mount for the 46-pin connector (T46a). Refer to => [ 46-Pin Connector Mount, CAN Cut-Off Connector ] 46-Pin Connector Mount, CAN Cut-Off Connector.

- Install the front sill panel.

- Connect the battery. Refer to => [ Connecting ] Service and Repair.
