Bracket For Control Motors (V107)/(V108)/(V110)

Removal






- Remove the defroster door motor. Refer to => [ Defroster Door Motor (V107) ] Defroster Door Motor (V107).

- Remove the left center vent motor. Refer to => [ Left Center Vent Motor (V110) ] Left Center Vent Motor (V110).

- Remove the left footwell door motor. Refer to => [ Left Footwell Door Motor (V108) ] Left Footwell Door Motor (V108).

- Expose the wiring harness - 2 -.

- Unscrew the bolts - 3, 4, 5, 7 -.

- Remove the bracket - 6 -. The cam plate with the lever - 1 - on the air distributor housing can detach in this process.

Installation

Installation is done in reverse order, observe the following:

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Basic Version - Add On Parts of A/C Unit Overview ] Basic Version - Add On Parts of A/C Unit Overview.

- Check the connecting elements and actuator lever for the different doors for proper functioning and correct installation position.

- Install the wiring harness in the mounts so that it cannot come in contact with any moving parts (for example, the lever of the control motor).

- Install the left footwell door motor. Refer to => [ Left Footwell Door Motor (V108) ] Left Footwell Door Motor (V108).

- Install the left center vent motor. Refer to => [ Left Center Vent Motor (V110) ] Left Center Vent Motor (V110).

- Install the defroster door motor. Refer to => [ Defroster Door Motor (V107) ] Defroster Door Motor (V107).

After completion of the repair work, perform the following work on the control head using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function:

- Read out the event memory and erase any displayed entries.

- Perform the basic setting.

- Perform the output diagnostic test mode.
