Removal






- Remove Information electronics control module 1 (J794).

- Release the tabs - arrows - and remove the anti-theft immobilizer reader coil - 1 - from the mount.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 -.

Installation

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Steering Column Electronics Control Module (J527) and Electronic Ignition Lock Overview ] Steering Column Electronics Control Module (J527) and Electronic Ignition Lock Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install Information electronics control module 1 (J794).
