Separate Shift Lever Boot from Shift Knob

- Remove the shift knob and the shift lever boot. Refer to => [ Shift Knob with Shift Lever Boot ] Shift Knob with Shift Lever Boot.

- Remove the shift lever boot frame from the center console cover - arrows -.






- Score the connecting piece at the point marked by the - arrow - using a sharp knife.






- Then bend connecting piece open, spread it apart and remove it.

Assembling

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

- Attach the shift lever boot with the new connecting piece - arrow - to the shift knob.

- Install the shift knob and shift lever boot. Refer to => [ Shift Knob with Shift Lever Boot ] Shift Knob with Shift Lever Boot.
