Pressure Sensor Control Line






Pressure Sensor Control Line

Removing

- Remove engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the differential pressure sensor (G505) - 2 -. Refer to => [ Differential Pressure Sensor (G505) ] Differential Pressure Sensor (G505).






- Remove the heat shield boot and then remove exhaust pressure sensor 1 (G450) - 3 -. Refer to => [ Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450) ] Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450).






- Remove the clamp - 1 -.

- Remove the noise insulation - 1 -.






- Remove the clamp - 2 - and the bolts - 1 - and then remove the filter.






- Remove the control line - 2 - from the exhaust pipe behind the particulate filter.






- Remove the nuts - 2 -.






Ignore - 1 -.

- Remove the bolt - 4 -and push the particulate filter toward the rear.






- Loosen the nut - 2 - just enough so that the control line is loose.

- Remove the control line.






Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) (G39) and Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensors Overview ] Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) (G39) and Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensors Overview

Before installing, clean the control lines leading to the particulate filter with compressed air to make sure they are not plugged or iced over with condensation water.

Check for secure fit and leaks.
