1 Fuel Delivery Unit

Checking transfer fuel pump (G6) electrically, refer to => [ Electric Transfer Fuel Pump, Checking ] Electric Transfer Fuel Pump, Checking

The version through 10.2004 is shown in the illustration

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] Fuel Delivery Unit

After installing, fuel vehicle with at least 5 liters of fuel

2 Seal

Replace

Install dry

3 Fuel Supply Line

Black

To fuel filter

Do not kink

Attaches to connection with identification V at sealing flange

To remove from locking flange, press release button on connecting piece

Clipped in on fuel tank

4 Fuel Return Line

Blue

From fuel cooler

Do not kink

Attaches to connection with identification R at sealing flange

To remove from locking flange, press release button on connecting piece

Clipped in on fuel tank

5 Electrical Harness Connector

For transfer fuel pump and fuel level sensor (G)

6 Locking Ring

Use wrench (T10202) for removal and installation

Tighten to 110 Nm.

7 Fuel Level Sensor (G)

The version through 10.2004 is shown in the illustration

Resistance values, checking => [ Fuel Level Sensor, Checking ] Testing and Inspection
