Fuel Level Sensor, through Approximately 10.2004

Removing

Observe safety precautions. Refer to => [ Fuel System ] Fuel System.

Observe rules for cleanliness. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Fuel Supply System.

- Install the fuel delivery unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] Fuel Delivery Unit.


Before remove electrical connectors on fuel level sensor (G) , first release contact retaining tabs.

- Disengage electrical connector retaining tabs - 1 - and - 2 - and disconnect them.






- Pry on the retaining tabs - 3 - and - 4 - with a screwdriver and pull the fuel level sensor off downward - arrow -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Insert the fuel level sensor (G) in the guides on the fuel delivery unit and push upward until it engages.

- Connect the electrical connections and check that they are securely engaged.

- Install the fuel delivery unit => [ Installing ] Fuel Delivery Unit.
