Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1






Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Open-end wrench (commercially available)

Removing

- Remove the filter. Refer to => [ Filter ] Filter.

- Remove the engine cover - arrows -.





- Disconnect the - 3 - exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 (G235) connector and free up the wire.





Ignore - 1,2, 4 and 5 -.

- Remove bolt - 1 -.





- Mark the exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 (G235) - 2 - installed position.

- Remove exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 - 2 - from the exhaust manifold with an open-end wrench.

Installing

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exhaust Temperature Control Assembly Overview ] Exhaust Temperature Control Assembly Overview.

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ EGR with EGR Cooling System Assembly Overview ] EGR With EGR Cooling System Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Refer to => [ Clamps, Installed Position on Exhaust System ] Clamps, Installed Position on Exhaust System

Coat the thread on the exhaust gas temperature sensor with hot bolt paste. Refer to the electronic parts catalog ETKA.

Align exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 with the marking and then tighten it.

During installation, all cable ties must be installed at the same location.
