Oil Filter Bracket and Oil Cooler Assembly Overview






1 Gasket

• Replace

2 Bolt

• Replace

• Tightening specification and sequence

3 Oil Filter Bracket

• With oil check valve

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oil Filter Bracket with Oil Cooler ] Oil Filter Bracket With Oil Cooler

4 Seal

• Replace

5 Connecting Piece

• 33 Nm

6 Oil Supply Line

- Tighten the union nuts to 22 Nm.

• To turbocharger

• Installation sequence:

- Install the union nuts evenly by hand.

- Secure bracket.

7 Oil Pressure Switch (F1)

• 20 Nm

• With seal

• Replace seal

• Operating pressure 0.7 bar

• Brown insulation

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oil Pressure Switch ] Oil Pressure Switch

• Checking => [ Oil Pressure Switch, Checking ] Oil Pressure Switch, Checking

8 Cap

• 25 Nm

9 O-ring

• Replace

10 Oil Filter Element

11 Gasket

• Replace

• Installed location

12 Engine Oil Cooler

• See note => [ If large quantities of metal particles or
abraded material are detected during engine repairs, it may mean the crankshaft
or rod bearings are damaged. To prevent damage, perform the following steps
after completing the repair: carefully clean the oil channels and replace

13 Seal

• Replace

14 Plug

• 25 Nm

15 Bolt

• 10 Nm

16 Bracket

• For wiring harness

Oil Filter Bracket Tightening Specification and Sequence

- Replace the oil filter bracket bolts.

- Install the left upper bolt and the right lower bolt.

- Tighten the bolt - arrows - diagonally in 2 steps as follows:





- Tighten to 15 Nm.

- Tighten an additional 90°.

Oil Cooler Seal Installed Position

- Install the seal - 2 - so that it snaps into the all the tabs on the oil cooler - 1 -.





• Make sure the seal does not cover the hole - arrow - for the oil.

Oil Dipstick Guide Tube - Tightening Specifications





- Tighten bolts - arrows - to 9 Nm.
