Rearview Camera System Control Module

The rearview camera system control module (J772) is located behind the luggage compartment left side trim.

- If control module is replaced, select replacement function for appropriate control module in guided fault-finding routine.

Use the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051A) to do so.

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the ignition key.

Removing

- Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

- Remove the bracket and radio (R) and move it into the luggage compartment. Refer to => [ Radio, MMI ] Radio, MMI.

The rear view camera system control module (J772) - 2 - is wedged into the bracket - 3 -.





- Disconnect the connectors - 1 - and - 2 - on the rearview camera system control module - 3 -.

- Push the tabs - arrows - outward and remove the rearview camera system control module - 2 - from the bracket - 3 -.

Installing

- Install in reverse order.

- Install the bracket with the radio. Refer to => [ Radio, MMI ] Radio, MMI.

- Perform calibration => [ Rearview Camera System, Calibrating ] Testing and Inspection.
