1 Lower toothed belt guard

• Remove vibration damper

2 10 Nm

• Insert using locking compound; locking compound.

3 Center toothed belt guard

• Remove ribbed belt tensioner

4 Upper toothed belt guard

• When installing, carefully engage the center toothed belt guard

5 Toothed belt

• Identify running direction with chalk or felt-tip pen before removal, reversed running direction can cause damaged to used toothed belts

• Check for wear

• Do not kink

• Removing and installing, tensioning, refer to => [ Toothed Belt ] Service and Repair

6 Idler roller

7 27 Nm

8 65 Nm

• Use counter-holder (3036) to loosen and tighten

9 Camshaft sprocket

• For removing and installing, refer to => [ Toothed Belt, Removing from Camshaft Sprocket ] Toothed Belt, Removing From Camshaft Sprocket

10 Tensioning roller

11 Washer

12 Tensioning device for toothed belt

13 O-ring

• Replace

• When installing, coat with coolant

14 Coolant pump

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Pump ] Service and Repair

15 15 Nm

16 Crankshaft toothed belt sprocket

• There must be no oil on the contact surface between the toothed belt sprocket and crankshaft

• Only possible to install in one position

17 90 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4 turn)

• Replace

• Do not oil

• Use counter-holder (3415) to loosen and tighten

18 15 Nm

19 25 Nm
