Remove the protection (image 1) on the valve located on the fuel rail. Connect adapter: 999 7268 Adapter 999 7268 Adapter and 999 7450 Adapter 999 7450 Adapter
to the fuel draining unit: 981 4070 Fuel tank-drainer 981 4070 Fuel tank-drainer
Connect the adapter to the valve on the fuel rail in locked position (image 2, valve closed). Start drawing out the fluid. Release the adapter (image 3, valve open).

Raise the vehicle Jacking points, body Jacking Points, Body




Remove the protection on the valve that sits by the fuel filter. Connect bleed hose: 999 5480 Adapter 999 5480 Adapter to the valve before the fuel filter. It takes about 2 minutes to empty the system.

Installation

Caution! Do not forget to reinstall the covers over the valves.

Refit the equipment in reverse order.
