Center console, replacing

The illustrations in this service information are used for different model years and/or models. Some variation may occur. However, the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.

Removing center tunnel console





Remove:
- the arm rest at the center console according to the following three alternatives:




- Alt 1Release handle at the arm rest's lower rear edge, pull backwards.
- Alt 2Remove the 2 x screws (1). Press in the catches (2), pull backwards.
- Alt 3Remove the 2 x covers (2). Remove the 2 x screws (1), pull backwards.




- the cover.




- the gear shift selector panel.
Press the frame out of the gear shift selector panel.





Remove:
- the side panels, left and right.




- the connectors from the cable holder
- the 6 screws.
Lift out the center tunnel console.

Installing the center tunnel console

Install:
- the connectors
- the center tunnel console.

Note! Ensure that the center tunnel console is correctly positioned in relation to the guide for the dashboard.

Install:
- the 6 screws. Tighten
- the frame for the gear shift selector panel
- the gear shift selector panel
- the cover.
- the armrest at the center tunnel console.
