Description Of Frozen Values, SUM

Description of frozen values

Explanation
The frozen values are the parameter values stored in the control module when a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) becomes active. The parameters that are stored as frozen values can provide information about the conditions and circumstances that applied when the fault occurred.
Not all parameters are for all diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), some are specific to certain diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). In addition, some frozen values are global and are in all control modules for all diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

Total mileage, value
Indicates the vehicle's total mileage when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The value is given in km.
Measurement range: 0 -16,777,215 km.

MECU power supply, value
Indicates the power supply for the central electronic module (CEM) when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The value is given in volts (V).
Measurement range: 0 -64 V.
Normal range: 12.0 - 14.5 V.

Passenger compartment temperature, value
Indicates the temperature in the passenger compartment when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The value is given in degrees Celsius (°C).
Measurement range: -40 °C to +215 °C.

Outside temperature, value
Indicates the outside temperature when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The value is given in degrees Celsius (°C).
Measurement range: -40 °C to +215 °C.

Power supply position, status
Indicates the status of the power supply mode when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
Possible status:
Key removed
Key recently removed
Key approved
Ignition off after Accessory position
Accessory position
Accessory position after Ignition on
Ignition on
Engine running
Start attempts

Power supply for the Suspension Module (SUM)
Indicates the power supply for the suspension module (SUM) when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The value is given in volts (V).
Measurement range: 0 -25.5 V.
Normal range: 12 -14.5 V.

Power supply sensor
Indicates the voltage on sensor output 1 and 2 when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The value is given in volts (V).
Measurement range: 0 -6.4 V.
Normal range: 4.5 - 5.5 V when the system is active.

Signal change range, height sensor, value
Indicates the signal change range of the relevant height sensor, (derivative of the height sensor signal) when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
Measurement range: -100 to +100.

Body acceleration sensor, value
Indicates the signal voltage from the relevant body acceleration sensor when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The value is given in volts (V).
Measurement range: 0 -6 V.
Normal range: approximately 2 V.

Height sensor, value
Indicates the signal voltage from the relevant height sensor when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The value is given in volts (V).
Measurement range: 0 -6 V.
Normal range: approximately 2.5 V.

Damper solenoid, value
Indicates the resistance in the relevant damper solenoid when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. Value given in ohm (ohms).
Measurement range: 0 - 25.5 ohms.
Normal range: approximately 5 ohms.

Vehicle's acceleration, value
Indicates the vehicle's acceleration in the direction of travel when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The value is given in meters per second squared (m/s2).
Measurement range: -26 to +26 m/s2.

Vehicle speed
Indicates the vehicle speed when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The value is given in kilometers per hour (km/h).
Measurement range: 0 - 255 km/h.
