Checking the seat belt tensioner





Note! Use VIDA to check the front row of seat belt tensioners.

Only applies to rear seat belt tensioners:
Insert a wire in the pipe on the seat belt tensioner as illustrated.
Check the piston position in the seat belt tensioner.

Piston position A:
The seat belt tensioner has deployed. Replace the seat belt tensioner.

Piston position B:
The seat belt tensioner has not deployed. No corrective action is required.
