Display screen / loudspeaker, RTI (road traffic information), replacing

Removal and Installation

Note! As the illustrations in this service information are used for different model years and / or models, some variation may occur. However, the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.

Preparatory work




- Ignition off
- Remove the grille. Insert a weatherstrip tool through the center hole and pry loose. Use the reverse of the display screen as a lever.

Removing the display screen / loudspeaker and bracket





Remove:
- the screws (2). Disconnect the connectors (1)
- the display screen and loudspeaker and bracket.

Removing the display





Remove:
- the screws (3)
- the display screen (2) from the bracket (1).

Removing the loudspeaker





Remove:
- the screws
- the loudspeaker from the bracket.

Installing the display screen / loudspeaker and bracket





Install:
- the display screen and loudspeaker in the bracket
- the screws. Connect the connectors (1)
- the display screen and/or loudspeakers and bracket in the dashboard
- the screws (2) and tighten
- the grille.
Test the function.
