Turbocharger (TC)

Removal

Note! Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Battery, disconnection Battery Disconnecting and Connecting

Perform cooling system draining, charging and bleeding Refer to: Cooling system - draining, charging and bleeding, B6304T4, B5254T5 Service and Repair

Remove the right-hand drive shaft Refer to: Drive shaft right, B6304T4, TF-80SC AWD, B5254T5, TF-80SC Drive Shaft Right





Caution! Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.









Caution! Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.

Torque: M6, 10 Nm





Caution! Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.




Torque: M6, 10 Nm





Caution! Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.





Caution! Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.





Note! Note the position of each component before removal.

Torque: M8, 24 Nm









Note! Install all the bolts finger tight before final tightening.

Torque: Catalytic converter to turbocharger, 24 Nm




Torque: Coolant pipe to turbocharger, 38 Nm









Install the following items:
1. Torque: Oil pressure pipe to the turbocharger, 26 Nm

2. Torque: Crankcase connection-turbocharger, 25 Nm




Torque: M6, 10 Nm




Torque: M8, 24 Nm





Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
