Preparatory work

Remove the rear spring if it has not already been removed. See: Spring, B5254T7, AW55-50/51SN, B5254T7, M66 Spring, Rear.

Normal position





Position a transmission jack below the lower control arm. Press up until the measurement between the center of the wheel and the fender edge is approximately 350 mm.

Warning! The work must always be carried out with the spring removed. Ensure that the car does not lift off the hoist when using the transmission jack.

Finishing

Remove the transmission jack. Install the spring if it is not installed in the method that requires the normal position. See: Spring, B5254T7, AW55-50/51SN, B5254T7, M66 Spring, Rear.
