Sunroof / Moonroof Module: Service and Repair

The electric motor / sun roof module (SRM).

Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.

Removal

Removing electric motor / sun roof module (SRM)
Move the sun visors to one side.

Remove:
- the snap fasteners for the sun visors
- the front courtesy lighting. See: Lighting, internal front Front Interior Lighting




- the connector.
Slacken off the 3 screws for the interior lighting frame.




Remove the 3 screws.
Carefully lower the electric motor / control module.

Installation

Installing electric motor / sun roof module (SRM)

Install:
- the electric motor / control module
- the 3 screws. Tighten.
Tighten the 3 screws for the interior lighting frame.

Install:
- the connector
- the front courtesy lighting. See: Lighting, internal front Front Interior Lighting
- the snap fasteners for the sun visors.
Fold back the sun visors.

Finishing

New calibration of electric motor / sun roof module (SRM)

Recalibration of electric motor / sun roof module (SRM)
