Climate control system, check

Preparatory work

Conditions for performance tests (vehicles with MCC and vehicles with ECC)
Close the hood, doors and side windows.
Start the engine.
The engine speed must be approximately 1500 rpm.

Performance test

Vehicles with MCC




Turn the temperature control (11) to maximum cooling.
Move the air distribution selector (6) to "Ventilation" position.
Move the recirculation button (2) to "On" position.
Set the air conditioning (A/C) button (4) to "On" position.
Set the blower fan control switch (1) to 50%.

Vehicles with ECC




Turn the temperature control (12) to maximum cooling.
Move the air distribution selector (6) to "Ventilation" position.
Move the recirculation button (3) to "On" position.
Set the air conditioning (A/C) button (8) to "On" position.
Set the blower fan control switch (2) to 50%.

Measuring the temperature (vehicles with MCC and vehicles with ECC)




Allow the system to stabilize itself for at least 8 minutes.
Position the thermometer at the center dashboard vents.
