Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.

Removal

Removing the glove compartment
Remove the glove compartment. See: Glove compartment Glove Compartment.

Removing the phone module (PHM)




Remove 1 screw.
Fold the front end of the control module down.

Removing the battery





Remove:
- the cover
- the connector
- the 2 screws
- the metal bracket
- the battery.

Installation

Installing the battery

Install:
- the battery
- the metal bracket
- the 2 screws
- the connector
- the cover
Fold back the control module.
Install the 1 screw.

Resetting counter

Note! The counter must be reset when a new reserve battery has been installed. To reset the reserve battery, see VIDA: Vehicle communication, Group 3, Carphone, "Resetting the reserve battery".
