Thermostatic Expansion Valve to Connector Block Line

Removal

Drain the refrigerant from the AC system. Refer to: Refrigerant, draining Refrigerant, Draining
Lift aside the expansion tank.
Remove the upper engine stabilizer brace. Refer to: Upper torque rod, Upper Torque Rod
Raise the servo reservoir. Refer to: Reservoir fluid power steering, B6304T4, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S5, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S5, TF-80SC, B6324S4, TF-80SC, B6324S4, TF-80SC AWD Service and Repair





1. Torque: Clips refrigerant pipe to bodywork, 6 Nm

2. Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Remove the panel. Refer to: Secondary Bulkhead Panel RH Service and Repair





1. Remove the plastic nuts.
2. Torque: M6, 10 Nm





1. Remove the connector.
2. Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Installation

Change and lubricate the O-rings with compressor oil.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Vacuum-pump the AC-system. Refer to: Vacuum pumping Vacuum Pumping

Fill the air conditioning system with refrigerant. Refer to: Refrigerant, filling Refrigerant, Filling

Leak-trace the air conditioning system. Refer to: Leak detection, tracer agent Leak Detection, Tracer Agent

Carry out a performance test on the climate control system. Refer to: Climate control system, check Climate Control System, Check
