Removal

Note! Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the air bag. Driver's Airbag.








Torque: Steering wheel to steering column (center screw), 48 Nm





Caution! Make sure that the steering wheel is not rotated while the clockspring is locked in position.

Slacken off the screw (1) and lock the contact reel.









Caution! Make sure that the clockspring pins are not bent or damaged.
