Bleeding/filling

Warning! Avoid skin contact with the oil.

Note! Use the correct quality.

Fill the reservoir with oil.
Use: Volvo's servo oil, 116 1529-1

Hang the fluid reservoir from the hood catch using welding rod or similar. Ensure that the hose is stretched.
Turn the steering wheel between both end positions repeatedly 10 times. Fill with fluid if necessary.
Apply the parking brake. Start the engine.
A: Turn the steering wheel slowly to the right. Hold it in the limit position for a maximum of 2 seconds.
B: Turn the steering wheel slowly to the left. Hold it in the limit position for a maximum of 2 seconds.
Switch off the engine, wait 5 minutes and repeat steps A and B 10 times. Repeat the operation.
Switch off the engine, wait 5 minutes and repeat steps A and B 10 times.

Reinstall the oil reservoir. Check the oil level.
