Calculating the average value for the wastegate valve's stroke









Calculate the average value by adding the read off stroke at an increase of pressure (Depressurized to check pressure) to the read off stroke at a pressure reduction (Max. pressure to check pressure), divide by 2.
For example: The read off stroke at pressure increase (Depressurized to check pressure) 5.7 mm. Read off stroke at pressure drop (Max. pressure to check pressure) : 8.3 mm. Average value = (5.7+ 8.3) / 2 = 7 mm
