Windshield washer fluid reservoir, replacing

Removal

Removing the bumper cover





Remove:
- the casing for the front bumper. See: Bumper front, replacing Service and Repair
- the screw for the air baffle
- the air baffle.




Remove the 4 screws from the bumper guide.

Location of components




1. Windshield washer motor
2. Headlamp washer motor, high-pressure
3. Level sensor.

Removing the fuel filler pipe




Remove the screw for the fuel filler pipe.
Disconnect the 3 washer hoses at the washer motors.
Mark up the hoses.
Drain or plug the windshield washer reservoir.
Disconnect the connectors.
Remove the 3 screws.

Carefully tension out the bumper guide. Lower the windshield washer reservoir.

Installation

Installing the windshield washer fluid reservoir
Carefully tension out the bumper guide. Position the windshield washer reservoir.
Install the 3 screws. Tighten. See: Tightening torque [1][2]Specifications.

Installing the fuel filler pipe
Align the air hose.
Install the 3 washer hoses according to the markings.
Connect the connectors.
Press the filler pipe into place.
Install the 1 screw.

Installing bumper casing

Install:
- the air baffle and the screw
- the 4 screws for the bumper guide
- the casing for the front bumper. See: Bumper front, replacing Service and Repair.

Finishing

Function test
Test the function.
